3 Things about Last Night

1. After turning off the lights, I heard what I think was a stink bug flying around the bed. So disgusting. Too tired to hunt for it. Hope I didn't swallow it in the middle of the night.

2. I pulled a muscle in my back while sleeping. Who does that?!

3. I had an awesome dream where I was BFFs with Beyonce and Jayz. I mean, they lovveessttt me. Best dream ever.

Concert Recap

You have no idea how happy I was yesterday! First of all, Mr. Ho and I haven't had a night to ourselves in a LONG time. I couldn't have asked for a better evening. I was so excited, I had to pee like a million times and my hands were sweating!

The concert itself was just so great. I never thought I would see JayZ and Kanye perform live. They were remarkable. Jay is just such a seasoned vet. And Kanye is so passionate. They both have SUCH swag. When the two of them are on the stage together, they just exude success.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was people watching. I really enjoyed seeing what the ladies were wearing. I saw a lot of red bottoms. Some women looked so well put together. While some looked like trash - ill fitting, skanky club-wear. Why? And please, if you can't walk in your heels, wear another pair of shoes. You look stupid stumbling around.

You know what cracks me up? When I catch men checking out women. Like they think they are being slick but I see your eyes wandering to their boobs and butt. So funny.

And if you are going to make out during a concert, do us all a favor and stay home. Or if you think you are too good for this shit, stay home too. There is no need to sit down the entire time, and text. There are TWO KINGS on the stage and you look wack.

I, on the other hand, was one of the fools who was geeking the eff out. I couldn't contain myself. I looked like an idiot and I didn't care. I loved every moment. My ears are still ringing and I can't feel my toes, but what a night. I have marks on my shoulders from my Chanel chain. #firstworldproblems

I'll be throwing up diamonds till the day I die! HOV!

Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

I can't believe it's already September. Where did August go? Oh, I'll tell you. August was spent on the couch. Or in my bed. Mostly, it was spent horizontally. Or bent over the toilet. August was a definite blur. Hopefully, September will go a lot better.

I am jamming to Jay-Z's Blueprint 3. AH. I LOVEEEEE him. I think I'll be throwing up the ROC sign till I'm old and gray.

Yesterday was MONUMENTAL. Baby V let me hold her. It was voluntary. She was totally talking to me in her o-so-cute baby jibberish. Actually cracking me some smiles and loving me! I hope it's a repeat performance!

And a BIGGGGG CONGRATULATIONS to DHuang for landing a job after graduation! I can't believe you are already graduating this year. I feel like it was just yesterday that I saw you pack up your car and zoom off to St. Louis.... My, how quickly they grow up.

Today's craving: A McDonald's sundae but with strawberry sauce. YUMMMMM!

I Did It!

Got the hair done yesterday.  I discussed my plans for my perm and we did the hair accordingly.  As in, keeping it long and doing a bunch of highlights underneath to accentuate the future curls.  Good times.  

That wasn't the most exciting part of my day, though.  I parallel parked my car!  YES!  Granted, it took about 15 takes, but still.  I did it.  Oh, I guess I should say that it was our Accord, not the Range.  Whatever.  High 5's all around!

We went to dinner last night and I only had 2 glasses of wine but I was HAMMERED.  This is probably due to the fact that I haven't been drinking that much.  Trying to treat my body as a temple for the future Ho to reside in.  That went out the window last week so I'll just milk it for a little while.

I'd just like to say one thing.  My SIL wants to take me crib shopping.  Like, today.  Is this puzzling to anyone else?  HAHA.  It is endearing though.  I'll hold you up to buying me one when the day comes :)

Enjoy the beautiful weather!  This especially applies to BFFF.  Get that stroller out.  V!!!!!  (Do you know that Jay-Z song where he gives shout-outs and all he says for Beyonce is "B"  and then it echoes?  That's what I'm doing here with the V!!!!!  V now has 2 meanings).

New Looks

Is this new template too emo?  Or does it just blow your mind?

I like the colors and the feel of everything.  But I wish that illustration at the top right corner didn't look like its bleeding so much.  I'll probably change it.

Obviously, I'm playing around with the look of this blog.  It makes me want to learn HTML or coding or whatever it's called.  Do you think it would take awhile to pick up?  Considering I do have a lot of free time...  My mother did tell me to not waste my time and learn something while I'm not working.  I was actually thinking about learning how to knit.  I think I'd be good at it.  

Yes, I know the links, recipes, and books are all missing.  I have to retype and re-link everything so I'll do that after I perfect this lil' blog o' mine.

Sorry, but I don't have FIVE FUN FACTS today.  It is really hard to think of them, by the way.  But I will end with this...  I want nerd glasses.  Just like the greatest rapper of all time, Jigga.
