Kicking a balloon around the kitchen with Olivia. Slipping and falling straight on my ass. iPhone slamming to the ground. Good times.

Dumb Moves

My dumb moves of the day:

Punched myself in the mouth while pulling up Olivia's pants after a diaper change.

While attempting to shake off all the sand off of Olivia before putting her in the carseat, I put her sneakers on top of the tire. I told myself, "don't leave them there and run them over." So guess what I did? I forgot. Drove all the way home, Lightbulb went off. Saw no shoes in the car. Drove back to the park. Found shoes in the parking lot.

Seriously, wtf is wrong with me these days? Is it mommy-brain?

Dummy

Sometimes I am appalled at my own stupidity. I have had such a clumsy/accident streak. I think God is telling me to be more cognizant and get my head out of the clouds. I'm listening, God!
